Medal-Marathon for Robotics Researcher

Tübingen – Stockholm – Berlin – Stockholm – Tübingen; Ludovic Righetti receives within 24 hours two renowned prizes for young researchers for his outstanding science on movements of robots


On 18 May 2016 Dr. Ludovic Righetti, Group Leader at the MPI for Intelligent Systems, receives the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz-Prize in Berlin. This award counts as the most important prize for early career researchers in Germany and is awarded to ten young researchers http://www.dfg.de/en/funded_projects/prizewinners/maier_leibnitz_prize/2016/index.html 

Only a day later, on 19 May 2016, Righetti will be awarded in Stockholm with the RAS Early Career Award (Academic) during ICRA 2016, on of the most important international conferences in the field of robotics and automation http://www.ieee-ras.org/about-ras/latest-news/716-2016-ras-award-recipients-announced.
